All residents operating a motorcycle in New Jersey must have a motorcycle endorsement on their existing driver license or a separate motorcycle license. A motorcycle permit is required before obtaining the endorsement or motorcycle license.
Disclaimer: It is important to remember that just because you have that endorsement on your license; it does NOT mean that you are ready to just go ride anywhere at any time. You’ve still got to exercise personal responsibility, think about your experience and the skills that you have.
THAT’S WHAT WILL TELL YOU WHERE AND WHEN YOU CAN RIDE.
